My husband and I stayed there the Memorial Day Weekend and loved the wonderful hospitality of the owners. The B&B has been completely renovated with private bathrooms and meticulous finish out. The breakfast was superb-especially the Blueberry French Toast. Very easy access to the harbor and eating establishments. Owners will direct you to the best places to eat and visit.... More

We stayed last August during our 25th anniversary. This place is wonderful and our room was so clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious too. You will find your hosts to be kind and helpful people who care enough to go out of their way to make your experience something great to remember.

I had a wonderful 6 night stay here July 2012. Breakfast was very good and Phil always willing to share his knowledge of the area. As a solo traveller I really liked that he introduced me to other guest's at breakfast this made me feel very comfortable. Nice views of the harbour from my room and you can easily walk... More

While Phil is the star of the show at the Blue Heron, the Maine coastline area is the heart/soul of any trip to Boothbay Harbor. We stayed in the top floor and even with neighbors in the room next door (and a shared porch), my wife and I had the feeling of privacy that one looks for in a romantic... More

My wife and I spent four nights in this charming, super-clean, convenient and friendly B&B. I enjoyed the two or three block walk down to the harbor area and "bridge" each morning. Then the breakfast and the time with Phil--the food was delicious and the sightseeing tips from Phil were very helpful. He guided us to the best of the... More

Neither my husband nor I had ever been to Maine. Boothbay Harbor surpassed our expectations. The Blue Heron was magnificent. Laura and Phil could not have been more friendly. They were very kind and easy to be with. The front of the inn is so beautiful. Laura's taste in flowers is very lively and lovely. Our room overlooked the harbor... More

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to park the car and be able to walk to most activities - the exception being the Maine Botanical Gardens which was a short drive away. We took advantage of many local activities such as sea kayaking and a trip to... More

We stayed 3 nights in room #3. When making the booking I explained our needs and Laura helped me to choose a room that was just right for us. The Inn is out of the way, but within easy walking distance to whereever you wished to go in the village. We prefer a quiet location to one where there is... More
