I stayed here one night while moving my daughter from Monroe to Ms. It is on a service road right off the interstate and convenient to shopping and the mall. Room was clean and nice but not in the greatest part of town. No place to eat out that is within a short driving distance from Hotel so you are at the mercy of the Hotel. The hotel cafe will open maybe in 30-45 minutes of when it suppose too.

Attended a 3 day conference at the Clarion in Monroe. Accomendations were very good - comfortable bed, pillows, towels, in-room frig and microwave, friendly staff. Food served for lunch and dinner was excellent. Breakfast buffet menu was limited, but well prepared. Only discomfort was walking in the cold from room to main part of hotel.

Brutal. Grimy, dirty, in a bad neighborhood, couldn't get towels after several attempts, so I just pulled the sheets off the empty bed and used that. An example of grimy...you know those glasses with the paper lids they put next to the ice bucket thing, the ones at this hotel actually were slippery to hold, they were so greasy on... More

Booked this for a conference. Lobby was nice, but the staff acted like we were bothering them to check in. Went to our room and found no towels, and dirty sheets. The beds were made up, but it didn't look like the sheets had been changed...so gross. There was oily patches on the sheets. We left immediately.

The hotel is somewhat old, yet overall, not bad. The level of service is great; if you have any concerns, they'll fix promptly. I recommend the suite because it's larger and includes a sofa-sleeper. Again, not bad for the price.
