This hotel is well kept and has very friendly staff. Location is no too close to the airport but it's pretty close to downtown. The breakfast buffet could be a lot better, but I've been to worse. Overall, not bad. I pretty nice place to stay when in New Orleans.

I stay here once a month on business and it's my favorite hotel in new Orleans. The rooms are clean and people are friendly. I also like earning points when I stay as a Holiday Inn gold member.

Stayed here so I would be close to French Quarter. It is relatively close but not as close as the description. Minor issue.
Parking is free and self-serve. Checkin was quick as it was already pre-done just had to verify cc.
Bed was creaky but okay. Bathroom could use a refresh but shower was HOT.

We didn't have any hiccups here except for a cleaning lady who was annoyed that we asked her to clean our room...LOL
Desk staff were great...as was management.
There were some things nearby, but not necessarily walking distance.

March 28, 2012 - A very uncomfortable stay. Bed sheets felt wet. The next day I went to another hotel down the street and had dry sheets. They did have a wall charger for my phone and I will give them credit for that.
