We were going to Belterra Casino to see Bob Newhart but rooms there were closing in on $200/night. Looking for "close" accommodations I found the Ramada in Sparta. Hoping that it was a more recent construction to take advantage of the traffic from the Kentucky Speedway I made reservations. We were happy we did. The various people at the front... More

Stopped here on my way home from a business meeting because I was too tired to complete the drive. I often stay in 4 star resorts for my work and have to admit, this place was just as nice if not nicer than some of those. Being a Ramada out in the middle of nowhere, I have to admit I... More

We stayed here one night on our way to Mammoth Cave. Arrived at 11 pm and basically went straight to bed. The room was clean and the man checking us in was nice. The room was a nice size. Breakfast consisted of: bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, toast, doughnuts, muffins, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, and juice and coffee. Would... More

Im currently staying in this Ramada in Sparta, and after fighting a long hard days work in 15-20 degree weather, I come to relax. Only to wake up 3 hours into my nights sleep to a bed bug... I called the front desk to ask if they have had any problems with this and the desk clerk says: "no",.. Obviously.... More

We take all reports in this matter very seriously. We had never had a reported case of this type since our opening in July 2003. Upon notification by this guest, the manager went to the room not only to remove all bedding, but to inspect this room as well. (In a conversation with the guest, the Guest openly admitted to... Our recent trip was our second consecutive year staying at the Sparta Ramada for the Indy Car race weekend. The room does not come cheap for race weekend, but as someone who dreads the traffic hassles of leaving a racetrack, especially for a night race, being able to walk between hotel and track is priceless. The service is nothing short... More

THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT REVIEW! We truly appreciate hearing back from our guests. It does get quite hectic during race events, but we all have fun. With the addition of the Sprint Cup Race here for July 2011, there should certainly be some growth in this area, but we will maintain our "charm and personality"! We hope to see... More

When traveling across country for business we prefer to stay at a rural location if possible, as long as we are not giving up on quality. Well this Ramada definitely fits the bill. Only about 30 miles from CIncinnati this Ramada is a convenient commuter stop. The driveway is a bit daunting but you don't have to worry about staying... More

Had driven all night and only needed to stay for a few hours. They were only at 25% occupancy and wouldn't give us a discount and charged full price. The clerk said he didn't know how to give a discount and when we checked out a different clerk could, but was rude. The room was nice, with exception of the... More

Simple overnight stopover on our way to Nashville. Rated at 2.5 stars, but it's nicer than many 3 star hotels. Located at the Kentucky Speedway - our stay was off-season, this place probably is a zoo when there's a race. More

We stayed for just one night as my husband was driving a Nascar (Racing School) the next day.
