My husband and I stayed at Hampton Inn in Somerset, Kentucky Friday night, October 21. I had made the reservation for Saturday by mistake but Sherry Tucker, Assistant General Manager, offered to change it for me. She was friendly and professional. Donna, in charge of housekeeping, took time to answer several questions for me. She made sure I was pleased... More

Check in and check out were efficient and friendly. The breakfast was standard fair. The room was nice and comfortable. The pool was closed for the season, the hot tub was still open but it was so cool out we didn't want to use the outdoor hot tub. The elevator was broken when we were checking out so I had... More

We chose the hotel becasue of its proximity to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The hotel sits back off the road so we drove past it the first time and turned around to find it. There are several restaurants in the area. When checked in we discovered the elevator was not working sio we had to carry... More

Property was a little more upscale than most and breakfast slightly better. Helpful front desk. No upgrade. More

This hotel is a great choice if you're going to overnight in Somerset. It's clean and the rooms are "typical Hampton". Here's a tip: if you stay here and want a great place to go eat -- take a short drive (about 12-15 minutes or so from the hotel) north of town to Eddie Montgomery's Steakhouse. It's a teriffic place... More

This hotel was very nice and clean. I agree with the other comment's about the nice front desk girls. Receptionist was just a lovely woman who gave me great recommendations for restaurants. And I really enjoyed to outdoor pool and whirlpool. However, she mentioned that it would be closing down soon, I think in a couple of days since it's... More

If you stay be sure to say hi to Irene while having breakfast she is the sweetest woman in all of Somerset. Every day she gave my daughter some cookies to take with us and boy... More

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. The breakfast was good in the morning and the cookies in the evening are very good. I think it is the best in the area. Barbara who works at the front desk was very friendly and helpful to us. More

Having stayed at other hotels in the area, I decided to stay at this Hampton. I'm glad I did. The staff is friendlier and the rooms nicer than the other hotels which I have stayed in the Somerset area. Plenty of parking and very quite as it sits back from the main street. Will definitely stay hear again on future... More
