These types of properties are becoming more owned by India Nationals. Nothing against these folks, but properties are being ran down. This one did not have any working entrance doors that took the room key. You could exit, but had to enter through the main lobby. Rooms are old and in fact the owners I believe are living in one... I had issues with the Ramada and moved to the Holiday inn Express. The entire atmosphere was much better at this hotel: the lobby was clean, the room was clean and did not smell bad, the room was quiet and the breakfast area was clean and organized. I recommend this HIExpress when staying in Shelbyville. More

Solid place to spend the night on the road- maybe a few dollars more than many other choices, but very friendly staff, clean, safe, and comfortable. Hot breakfast was pretty good too. More

Typical Holiday Inn hotel.. great service, nice room. Breakfast daily. the pool is outdoors and gets the afternoon sun, so great for after-work tanning! More

I stayed here years ago and it was nice, but this time found it to be a dump. The TV didn't work. The whole place smelled of fresh paint (but none was evident) and cigarette smoke. It's run-down, out-dated and needs refurbishment. We will not stay here again. More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel while traveling. The room was clean and very large. The shower had a strong spray and the towels were plush.
