If you are looking for that perfect romantic getaway or just need a place to rest your head for the night, you will find it here. The property is gorgeous, the classic architecture is in harmony with the environment, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Did I mention the sumptuous breakfasts, complete with china to match the day, and a... More

When we first drove down Spring Lake Street we thought 'we must be on the wrong street', but what a pleasant surprise when we turned into the gates! In spite of the fact we were there in the dead of winter, it was beautiful! We had such a great experience from the clean, beautifully decorated, and friendly atmosphere to the... More

Ruby Lodge consists of two beatifully appointed 1950's era homes. The primary lodge - Ruby Lodge - overlooks a beautiful lake. The architectural design is exquisite - from... More

What a great place. Secluded, quiet and beautiful. A nature reserve-I was greeted by deer, raccoon, rabbits, geese and ducks. Breakfast are delicious and the dining room has to be seen to be believed. The room that I was in (Florida) was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Spectacular spiral staircase to the second floor. My experience made me think that... More

We had a wonderful stay. The room was great and the grounds beautiful. We felt almost alone. The breakfast offered both a good start and fine fellowship. We hope to sneak away there again and stay longer! More

With a group of friends, we recently enjoyed a weekend stay here and found the entire experience delightful. The folks who run Ruby Lodge are friendly and helpful, the houses that comprise the "lodge" are immaculately kept and furnished elegantly. We had access to a nice small pool, the decks and patios, and we used the kitchen and grill to... More

My wife and I just had a wonderful stay at Madisonville. The old house in town is a work of antique art and full of history (Hamock-Moore House) We had a wonderful breakfast both mornings and swam at the Ruby Lodge and Shirley was even gracious enough to let us tour the lake house. Everything is full of Madisonville history... More
