The Beaumont Inn is a beautiful, historic property in a quiet little town in central Kentucky. A good location to stay if you're touring the bourbon trail as we were. We arrived after a long day on the road, checked in and made our way to their bar, the Owl's Nest. I was hoping to do a little bourbon tasting... More

We stopped at the Beaumont Inn for one night to break up a road trip after I had seen it featured in the book, 1000 Places to See Before You Die. The actual inn is a very neat building with a lot of charm (antiques, period-specific decor, and early 19th century architecture). We upgraded our room so we had a... More

This is truly an historic property filled with antiques and southern hospitality. We selected this location as it was a good mid-point on the Bourbon Trail, for a 4-day stay. We loved it the minute we saw it, but I would not classify it as a B & B. More like an Inn with breakfast included. The owners are on-site... More

The buildings at the Beaumont are beautiful. The inside is very well decorated. Our room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and quiet. The beds were really comfy. Upon check in a porter showed us around the house which was a nice touch. Everyone was very friendly. The downside and disappointment was breakfast. Really nothing that special - very plain. The... This hotel makes you feel like you're back in time as an elegant lady in her quarters. Even the bathroom had beautiful curtains and I had to really climb into my bed. We were in the main Inn. The weather wasn't good enough to sit on the porch, but that would be something I would do in the summer. The... More

My husband and I stayed here in January. It was very cold and the nicest suites are in a different building from the main Inn, so I would suggest visiting in the summer. Not just because of that, but also the property is pretty, and I would have liked to have sat on the porch and drank a cocktail or... More

Winter weather was certainly in place over the past weekend which I agree makes any outside activity better suited for those acclimated to the Northern climates. We appreciate your suggestions and all have been duly noted. Please visit us again when the temps return to a more hospitable level for outside activities! More

We did a one night stay at the historic Beaumont Inn in October. The Inn is charming in an old time way. We stayed across the street in the newer rooms that had a porch. The rooms were like a room in someone's house. They were very comfortable. Our room faced the street and was across from the bar which... More

A friend and I recently stayed at the Beaumont Inn for one night. Our experience was somewhat different from those related by other travelers on this site, in that we spent a very uncomfortable night. First let me say that the Beaumont's grounds are absolutely beautiful and convenient to shopping and exploring in Harrodsburg. The main building, in which our... More

The Beaumont Inn is a larger inn, unlike the smaller more intimate bed and breakfasts. I must say I missed the evening glass of wine to meet other guests, but equally loved the privacy of our stay. The rooms are large and opulent, very quiet and elegant in a very Southern way. The included breakfast is so not quickly thrown... More

When I was a young man, I could not afford to take a date for an evening meal at the Beaumont Inn. After fifty years of dreaming I was able to take my wife, A Burgin High grad, our daughter A LA Music Executive, my sister a retired educator, and my cousin, a Viet Nam vet and his mate. The moral...
