How you feel about this hotel is a function of your expectations. This is not the Hyatt. It's Days Inn. For that chain, this hotel is adequate. The room is clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff is friendly. Nothing fancy. But it's right across from McDomad's, Cracker Barrel and a Mexican restaurant.

We stayed at this motel while visiting Mammoth Cave. It was nicely furnished and clean, and my only concern was that the bed pillows were flat, really flat. And one of the pillow cases was stained. I was just here in early March, remodeled room, marble vanity tops, bathrooms reasonable for the price, older style hotel but remodling in progress, front desk staff is very nice and informative; they care, great value

The hotel was filthy, the air conditioner didn't work, They wouldn't give another room, the room was filled with bugs, the bathroom was filthy. I could go on about the bad service, the smell in the room and other details but I won't. Two lessons - don't book through Priceline and don't stay at this hotel.

I've stayed here several times, and it's always a poor experience. If you want extra hotels or toilet paper, better hope the maid is on duty or you're not getting anything.
