Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow what a great caravan park. Grounds were top class well looked after, sites were big. Camp kitchen was well equipped and clean. Showers and toilets very clean and roomy. Has a pool and bouncy thing for kids. Close enough to the beach just a short walk. Cabins/chalets look new and roomy. Staff friendly and happy. Well stocked general store. Has a country club, didn’t check that out for dinner but will do next time. Will be one of our regulars to go to now. What a fine

$89 a night for a site . The most expensive i have come about Pool is freezing . They need to spend money and invest in a pool heater . Even on the hottest of days its still too cold The jumping pillow gets deflated at 6pm. They shouldn’t be deflating until 7pm Gravel road . Hard for scooters and skating . The most basic playground All that for $89 a site for a patch of grass 15 mins down the road at Lancelin caravan park you have : New tarmac surfaces State of the art playground Largest jumping pillow in Wa that doesn’t get inflated until 7pm Pool with heater Seriously , ledge point you need to starting upping your game

A nice park. Helpful pleasant staff Stayed long weekend at beginning of school holidays and suspect a youngster may have been having fun repeatedly blocking the plumbing. However, four days with scratchy minimal to no wifi (even their 2G daily allowance would go down at times) was not funny. At times only SOS phone coverage or Nil. I hope they can use this review to push Telstra to improve service ASAP. It must be a nightmare to run a business with unreliable internet! I wish them well.

Stayed 3 nights on our way back going south. Clean and well kept. Water took awhile to run hot but it was hot. Only thing was, it stated 500mb of internet download but each rollover only gave us 200mb so wasn't able to watch a movie on it. Price was cheap for a place like this but we did see further dates got more expensive.

It was expensive for off season and empty. Very small room with no amenities. Felt very cheap with no though about the guest. The communal kitchen was lacking almost any cookware to use and the stovetop was so old it was rusting off, could barely warm our food. Staff was condescending and not helpful. Not worth the stay at all.

Response from Wayne Na, General Manager at Ledge Point Holiday Park
Responded 8 Sept 2022
Hi Guy Please feel free to email me at managers@lphp.com.au with some more information regarding this review if you would like. None of it actually makes sense to me. The hot plates in the camp kitchen were replaced on Sunday, so they couldn't be "rusting off"? We do not provide utensils in the camp kitchens due to hygiene reasons. Not only was there recently a pandemic, but we can not be assured that the utensils are clean and sanitary for use if they are left out for everyone to access. Also, you booked the smallest and cheapest room we have, which states online that it is basically a small motel style room for a quick stopover and not recommended for extended stays.

Wow. What a great park. Big sites easy to access. Well maintained grounds. Facilities were super clean. Camp kitchen looked well set up. Had not been here before but extremely impressed. Really nice atmosphere around the powered sites. Will certainly recommend and will be coming back again.

Stayed for one night on our way home from up north, and on a friend's recommendation. Never knew this little place had such a beautiful holiday park. What a delight! Friendly and helpful staff, clean and modern ablution facilities and swimming pool etc. Caravan sites were large and fully grassed and it is so nice and quiet there. The beautiful looking golf course was an added bonus and we can't wait to get back there for a longer stay. Highly recommend this park.

Lovely park for a quick stopover. Well maintained. Shower facilities are plenty and well kept. Not great water pressure or heat but enough to be ok. This park issues a list of 27 rules when you check in, mostly aimed at families controlling their children. They certainly aren’t interested in being kind or friendly and were downright rude in multiple interactions. Good size sites.

Response from Wayne Na, General Manager at Ledge Point Holiday Park
Responded 17 July 2022
Hi Dani Please feel free to email me at managers@lphp.com.au to elaborate on what interactions with staff were considered rude. I am eager to follow up as most of our reviews are praising how lovely and friendly the staff are. As for the rules, well yes, we do have a list of rules that are on the back of the map. I am sure you will find that every caravan park has rules attached to their map or displayed around the park. There is rules everywhere in society, no matter where you go. They ensure everything runs smoothly.
