Enjoyed our overnight stay in the Library room. Husband had a paranormal visit during the night. Someone or something awaken him by raising his arm. Paul was a great host and the tour of the jail rooms were both historical and fun.

Very pleasant owner, but this B&B was the worst we've ever stayed in -- creepy dark rooms with barely any windows (I should have expected that as it's an old jail) and very poor quality breakfast, with hardly any effort thrown into it.

Stayed here for one night in the family suite and it was fantastic. Great location and easy walk around town. Plenty of room for the kids. Breakfast was Devine and eaten in the courtyard with the other guests which was lovely. Hospitality was fantastic.

Just spent two nights in the jail cell room and loved it. This really is a jail cell, don't think it isn't! This is one of the most unique B&B's I've been to. There are iron bars on the windows, the walls are 30 inch thick limestone and the history is amazing. My wife and I lucked out and had the whole place to ourselves, and had a spooky ol time! Paul was an excellent host, and enjoyed chatting about past experiences! 1819 room is hot :)

Concur with other reviews regarding location. B&B is next to Old Talbot Tavern where we enjoyed two very good dinners. Shops nearby were fun to browse. Bardstown visit was very enjoyable, incl.
