I would rate this B&B average. If we are ever back in the area, I would choose another. It was fine. We stayed two evenings but really weren't there much. Breakfast is at 9:00 am and we were off by 7:00 am each morning so can't give any info on breakfast. Keep that in mind as you book as you... More

We had a bit of trouble finding the house. We drove entirely around it at least once and after we spotted it, we couldn't figure out how to get there. Eventually we did find the drive. Even the sign, which is not visible from the main street, was partially obscured by roses, making it impossible to read. We entered with... More

Not a fun experience. Although the bed was nice, the setting, behind a car dealer, was noisy and you really could not see the front from the street nor was there a sign on the fence where you needed to park. Gourmet breakfast was three small pancakes (like Bisquick) and two small sausage pieces, fruit from a can, and orange... More

We were traveling the Bourbon Trail and wanted to stay someplace centralized so we could enjoy 3 distilleries the first day and 3 the second day. My husband suggested we try to stay at a B&B. I was surprised because he has never suggested a B&B in the past. We thought we would have a better chance to get an... More

The people that own the place are horrendous. If you're used to southern hospitality these folks forgot to take the classes, it's "take your money and screw you" all the way for this classy east coast couple. First we were lectured about showing up an hour early for check-in, he gave us directions to the Maker's Mark distillery, but when... More

We stayed at the Rosemark for a weekend of bourbon trail travels. The B&B is absolutely beautiful and has so much potential. The rooms are large and bed is comfortable and bathrooms have been nicely updated. We loved the atmosphere in the wine barn where we had dinner, The cons for this B&B was the lack of hospitality from the... More

This is a great property with potential to be something outstanding. But..the owners are running it like a low security prison. No wine or other alcohol in the building at all. That includes your private room that you paid plenty for. Go out the back door and they will sell it to you with dinner. Ask for a cab, there... More

My wife and I stayed at the RoseMark for a long weekend this fall. Bardstown is a great starting point for visiting the distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. Loved our room and breakfast was great. Normally we don't stay at B&B's, but decided to give this one a try -- no regrets. Especially like that during breakfast, we all had... More

We truly enjoyed staying at Rosemark Haven! We arrived by motorcycle and had reserved the Halstead Room for one week night. We enjoyed the Inn and Bardstown so much, we stayed another night. We would have stayed a third night but, since our request was last-minute and it was was Friday night, the inn was already full. Instead of staying... More

My husband and I stayed in the Riter room at the Rosemark while doing the Bourbon trail and overall this is definitely a great option. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had our own separate entrance on the side of the house and this gave the room an added feeling of privacy. However the bathroom was outside of... More
