“Nice Clean”

Okay, it is in the middle of nowhere, but it has a very homey nice lobby with lovely plants and a breakfast. Rooms were clean and had a tv and a fridge. Request downstairs, I think they seemed nicer. More worker type men upstairs, I think. Next door is a great mexican restaurant and wendy's across the street.

“Fine for Lyons”

Don't expect the Ritz in Lyons, this is farm country. The place did have some odor of cigarettes but not overpowering. We were here for a funeral so we needed a place nearby that could accommodate the large family and this did fine.

i stayed at this motel recently and i will never again , the manager is very rude, housekeeping is stretched so thin the rooms barely get cleaned, my room was gross... it smelled of body odor and mold. my bedspread smelled like cigars and was ripped in several places the bathroom was truly gross the shower curtain was moldy the... This is a good clean hotel with good linen. Room had fridge and microwave.

I called to check on rates and availabilty whilst traveling to Sterling College for a preview day. When I questioned why they charge per person, the clerk was not happy and said well it's only "$4.00 more"... granted but that's not really the point is it?
