“Nice motel”

The room and hotel are nice. The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was just so-so and definitely could have been friendlier and more helpful. The bathroom is beginning to look worn. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

“Starting to show its age”

My army unit stays here frequently. The service is excellent, but the property is starting to show its age in subtle ways. Broken toilet handles, clogged shower heads, noisy ac, etc. I have often been given towels at this hotel that were far past the time they should've been replaced.

“Another Great Visit”

We paid a return visit to this hotel in February 2013 and were once again very pleased with our choice. The hotel is new, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the University of Kansas, shopping, and restaurants. The workers in the breakfast room keep the area spotless and the coffee hot. We'll be back.

“Special Services in the Midst of a Snowstorm”

I arrived at the Holiday Inn Express Lawrence, Kansas on the night of Wednesday, February 20, 2013. That next morning a large snowstorm hit the area with over a foot of snow, resulting in very dangerous and limited travel and the closing of the Kansas City Airport. This was by FAR the best hotel that we have stayed in! We stayed for two nights but would have loved to stay more. “Nice Place”

This was a nice, clean hotel with a very pleasant hotel staff. Only stayed for a quick overnight and didn't even eat the breakfast, but found the room comfortable and pleasant. Would recommend it for a quick overnight stay.
