The couple that own this place live on the premises. It's obvious they really want you to have a good experience. It's a hidden gem but actually very close to I-35. Will definitely stay there again.

The "beer cellar with free evening appetisizers" envisioned a roaring fireplace with weary travelers gathered around for wine and cheese.It was a fallout shelter reeking of years of cigarette smoke. The room had little white stains all around the bed on the carpet. But there were two truckstops up the road for food. That's the positive thing I can say.

It was a nice place in a country setting. The family feel of the staff was very welcoming. They easily helped resolve any questions or problems.
