Over the years, I hadn't heard great things about this hotel. But it recently went through a management change which has apparently done wonders for the place! I was impressed by the upgrades to the facility. It has a great little sports bar on the second floor, and was very convenient all the way across the board.

Incredibly remodeled rooms, excellent customer service and very helpful staff. The room felt like a new room with new bed, pillows and most of all very clean. I found Valley West Inn to be a great overall experience. From the newly renovated rooms, to service, to the fun atmosphere in the hotel sports bar, I will stay here every time I visit DSM. Most importantly, the rates seemed about right for what they give you. I'll be back many times in the near future.

Had the best weekend getaway (staycation!) at Valley West Inn. Clean, comfortable rooms with a relaxed feel -- we swam at the pool, had drinks and watched the game at the sports bar, and then had room service from the great restaurant. Will do it again and recommend to others!

Checked into the hotel with good service, got to the room for 2 minutes and checked right back out. The pillowcase had hair and mascara on it and there were big black spiders in the room. I just checked this hotel out and must say that at Valley West Inn you will find yourself in a very comfortable place, with clean rooms, pillow top beds, plenty of room amenities, friendly personnel, great food and very affordable rates, which is wonderful for my business needs. Planning on recommending it to all my colleagues and friends.
