I normally stay at a Hampton Inn, also part of the Hilton family of hotels. There breakfast is included in the stay but it was an extra charge at this Hilton Garden Inn. That is the only negative thing I would say about this facility. It was lovely, clean, friendly and affordable. Highly Recommend

Stayed one night for work...was pleased to see a Texas Roadhouse in the same lot. Great location, and exactly what I expected for the brand. Friendly staff, very helpful with local businesses (food, stores, gas, etc)

We had the 1 bedroom king/whirlpool suite for our family of 3. It was a great value, but a little noisy since the room was by the elevators. Overall the hotel was good. The only thing bad was that the pool was way too cold and the hot tub was way too hot. I could not use either of them. The front desk was very helpful as I was waiting on a fax from my sister.

Stayed here for the week while in Des Moines on business. Overall the hotel was appointed very well, clean and comfortable. Although the beds weren't the best even with the "sleep number" settings. They provide a very nice breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, sausage, eggs, bacon and more. Conveniently located in Urbandale.

This was my third stay and probably my last until a refurb. The staff is great. The entire place is clean but it has even it's share of youth sports teams, parents and coaches. This is the second time I've stayed here at the beginning of my "post easter" trip. It such a great place. The friendliest staff, great amenities, and I recommend the "bed and breakfast" package - great breakfast. Overall, very comfortable.
