I stayed at the Spring Valley B&B for 2 evenings in the cabin, to get away from my crazy life as an organizer in Des Moines and to see what little treasures Iowa had to offer. This place is definitely one of such treasures. Dwight and Arleen were the best hosts, offering superb hospitality, great conversation and delicious breakfast! I... More

Ditch the hotel, stay here instead! Our family of 5 with 3 young children stayed in the bunk house and we can’t wait to go back. Anyone who has tried to manage kids in a hotel knows how stressful it can be. This slice of heaven had beautiful views, a stocked fishing pond, chickens with eggs to collect, a dog... More

My husband and I stayed at the Spring Valley B&B overnight in the cabin. The cabin is situated in an ideal spot on their picturesque farm. Exactly the right cross-breezes made it entirely comfortable, though there was air conditioning if we had wanted it. Comfortable, and clean, and a delicious breakfast by Arleen. We did a farm tour with Dwight... More

We had a great time at Spring Valley B&B in Knoxville, IA. The accommodations were fantastic and the host - Arleen and Dwight were wonderful host. They took the time to show us around their area. The breakfasts they made were great and the conversations were like we were family. I would recommend this place to anyone passing thru Knoxville,... More

stayed there for two years now this will be our third. two things to watch out for . 1. the owners are so nice you will not want to go home. 2.the food is so good you will go up a size if you stay to long.

We celebrated our 3rd anniversary weekend on the farm. Arlene & Dwight were wonderful hosts. Dwight took us out on a tour of the farm...great! They recommended a near by restaurant- "Kinfolks" with outstanding BBQ--don't miss the brisket!...Yum! We enjoyed a day leisurely geocaching around Red Rock Lake, and made a stop in Pella--also a beautiful town! I definitely would... More

Early Sept 2011 a group of 6 girls from WI came to Iowa for a few days. We stayed here for 4 nights and each day it seemed things got better and better! When we first arrived it was about 10:30pm, and as none of us knew anything about the area we were a bit apprehensive. As we pulled in,... More

The end of August my husband and I were heading out west for our first time. Our first night was a quick overnighter.I stumbled on Spring Valley B&B in internet searches. their online country music video sold me as it was the kind of tranquility we were looking for for vacation. Not being familiar with the area, we relied on... More

I absolutely loved staying here! My friends and I stayed here for a few days and we had a blast! There were so many things to do. The rec-room had a kitchen, table, couches, satellite TV, a pool table, a ping pong table, and an air hockey table, and even a tread mill. Dwight made us a fire by the... More
