We were at the Die Heimat FEB Friday 8th through Sunday 10th and had a great time. The bed was comfortable, we particularly loved the history of the place, pictures on the walls. We arrived on a friday and spent 2 days at the Die Heimat Country Inn. The innkeeper, Janice, was very friendly and an excellent cook. It was nice to be able to gather some information about the area while talking with her. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.

We found this incredible place online and stayed two nights while visiting Iowa City and the Amana colonies. We felt relaxed, comfortable and very welcomed at the DieHeimat Country Inn. Wonderful place to stay...quite comfortable and right in the midst of the colonies. Incredible owners, and Jan did an awesome job with the breakfasts. Definitely a place you will want to spend more than one day at.

This is truly a restful place to stay in the Amanas.
