My husband myself and 3 children all booked to stay for 4 nights, we where coming from Perth for a family function. When we booked we told them we needed a cabin for 2 adults and 3 children. This was booked a year in advance. We where so disappointed with the cabin, it was run down and tiny, we had... More

Hi there to the above reviewer, well it's disappointing to hear you didn't enjoy your stay over April - this is a very busy period for us & the park being so full can mean there's a hiccup along the way. That's unfortunate it rained with your cabin window open, I'm guessing you had a budget cabin, if I had... More

We camped here Easter 2013. It is obviously the busiest time of the year and understandably all the staff were under the pump so it took some time to check in. The new managers are doing an amazing job and were just so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our friend that joined us also booked a camp site but... More

Hi dandillianseven - Thanks so much for your review, was very warming. We had around 500 guests over Easter, not just the fullest Easter ever, but the fullest this Park has ever seen & Danny made sure it flowed smoothly. We wish we could've helped your friend more, what a great first camping experience she's had.... Giving her the cabin... More

This was a 1/2 way point for a family to catch up for the long weekend with some camping, some in cabins and some just visiting for the day, we stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and was more than impressed with its facilities and views on offer from its large deck dawn to dusk. Other members stayed in... More

I have been a regular user of trip advisor for about 2yrs. I have never left a review though - I have never felt the need as there has been existing comments that reflect my own. However in this instance, I felt I must leave a review for Lake Hume Tourist Park. I am completely perplexed by a few comments... More

Hi BrookeD, we're very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, it's lovely to have you here, you're welcome anytime. The pool is refreshing, the lake being a bit mirky is due to it being low, unfortunately. Take care, hope to see you back soon. More

As for the place it's amazing, I have been coming here for 16 years and previously have never had problems. Danny and terry are incompident and have no idea what they are doing. The shop girls are rude, don't greet customers as they should and have no respect for the public. And the shop closing at 5, is that a... More

This place has great potential & who cares who did what work, as long they keep improving we'll be back. The view & location are by far the best thing about this park, you could lounge about forever watching the lake & the pool isn't too shabby either, its a shame about the water slide not working, its a tease... We were expecting the worst after reading reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. New managers just started 4 weeks ago, though very unorganized in office and inexperienced, they will get the hang of it. Yes the shop closed too early (5pm) for ordering dinner, who wants to eat at that time. Newish facilities were very clean, with paper towels, soap... More
