Our first stay at QWL was absolutely wonderful. The owner, Linda, was warm and welcoming. The new innkeepers, John and Deb are friendly, helpful and they serve up a great breakfast! We stayed in the Sleeping Bear and added the new Hibernation Package. We enjoyed a private breakfast served in the loft adjoining our room. It was quiet and romantic.... More

We recently took our two daughters and their significant others to Dubuque for a family celebration and stayed at the Quiet Walker Lodge. We stayed in three of their beautiful theme suites and enjoyed them to the max. The place is beautiful inside and outside. The breakfast was made to order and the owner was very accommodating. I wish we... More

The Quiet Walker Lodge was the best idea we ever had! When we arrived, Carol came outside and greeted us. She showed us to our room. We stayed in Bella Vita. The refrigerator was stocked with a couple of sodas, some waters, some cheese, and a package of crackers. On top of the microwave, there was a tray with the... More

We recently stayed at QWL over Labor day weekend and we loved it. Carol and Linda were so nice. They were helpful with reccomendations on what to see in the area and nearby restaurant choices and would do anything to make your stay with them more enjoyable. We stayed in the original lodge that is very comfortable and clean. The... More

My husband suggested a trip to Galena for our anniversary so I started looking around for some place other than a hotel to stay at, we wanted something different. We definitely found it at Quiet Walker Lodge, the place is gorgeous! Carol came out to greet us (by our first names!) and showed us our room and around the lodge... More

My husband planned our anniversary getaway. I was very excited! We drove up the driveway into the woods and Carol came out to greet us right away and show us to our room. She had cookies and lemonade set out for us. A fresh, beautifully scented rose from their greenhouse and vase were in my room waiting for me, for... More
