A "sweet" place to say - great location, beautiful views. It is located right on the river and near the capitol building. The service was incredible and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful - something for everyone.

Very clean place with friendly staff. I was a bit disappointed when we got the reception with 45 minutes left and there was no more food. Breakfast was great and the front desk staff was efficient and very helpful.

This recent stay with Embasy Suites was very good..beds are comfortable as are the pillows!! Rooms are clean and staff is always helpful. This is probably one of the nicer Embassy Suites we have stayed in. However, I am disappointed that they just don't include the 8 dollar surface parking rate in the room. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The shower is raised off the floor and if you are 6'4" or taller, you will not fit in it very well.... More

For comfort and a pleasant relaxing atmosphere, Embasssy Downtown Des Moines is the place. Food, drinks and comfort is all there ready to serve you. Excellent Customer Service - would recommend this hotel to anyone that visits this city. Bellmen to front desk personnel - were exceptional. Friendly and so willing to help since I had to ship several boxes and had to deliver them in a timely manner. Good Job Team - Keep up the good work.

The premium room was large enough for 3 adults and 1 child to share. We enjoyed the warm water in the pool. We enjoyed the extended hours for breakfast and for managers reception so things weren't too crowded and we could take our time. This is a great location right downtown Des Moines. I always enjoy the suite experience of staying at an Embassy Hotel. The room allows me a "at home" feeling and the in-room food service was wonderful. I took advantage of the pool and hot tub to relax after my all day meeting, also to start off my day on the second day before meetings. Truly a wonder stay.
