“Nice place to stay when in Southbend visiting daughter at Uni N.D.”

We made our reservation the day prior to our arrival. We were just going to visit our daughter who attends ND. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but it didn't cause us any delays or problems. “A bit downhill”

This has been a nice hotel in the past. Latest visit produced a plugged sink and a good breakfast buffet (as opposed to the former excellent buffet). I have yet to be able to get out of the parking lot after checking out without contacting the desk. Staff is very helpful and quick to solve reasonable needs.

“Stay maybe skip eating”

“In town for a tournament”

The room was clean and perfect for our weekend tournament. For me, the staff is what set this hotel above the majority I have stayed at. The front desk staff were very welcoming and professional. The downtown location was a little concerning at first but proved not to be an issue

“Getting Better”

This hotel has gotten better each time I have visited since it was taken over by Doubletree. The value is still not great, however, as it was about $150/night with taxes and parking. If you need to stay in Downtown South Bend for business or other activities, this hotel is a little pricey but exceeded my expectations overall this trip.

“Very pleasant experience”

This hotel met or exceeded all my expectations. I loved the free late check out. The fitness room was open all hours with and the pool was a great feature for families. The restaurant food was good and once the Starbucks is fully functional that will be a great addition as well.
