We stayed here for one night this past Labor Day weekend. We used Wyndham Reward points, so we got it free. We based here to visit Indiana Dunes and nearby Chesterton. The hotel was rather an older facility. The rooms were tidy, but obviously showed wear and tear over the years. The furniture was definitely a bit shoddy and needs...

As the new GM of Days Inn - Portage, IN. I thank you for staying with us and for your comments regarding our property. I am aware of the need for baby cribs and am in the process of getting 4 of them for our hotel. I have also already ordered more linens. I do agree with you that no...

The Days Inn is located right off the 249 and I94 expressways, so it is a convenient place to rest. This is not the Ritz, the place is old and shows some signs of wear. However, it was clean, the shower was hot, the AC and TV worked, and the bed was firm. For just a place to sleep, this...

Great price and location for visiting the Dunes. Checked in late in the day, was not our first choice hotel but others were sold out and recommended checking the Days Inn. We were just looking for a place to relax after a day at the beach. Pulled up to hotel to see large windows that looked like they needed updated...

I'm not kidding, beware of this rat hole. I'm sitting here itching right now. After reading these reviews, I wish I had read all the warnings before checking in but did not. The price sounded great so we tried it out. Bad choice. First off, our room was stinky. Smelled like sweat and gun powder. Very strange. While driving around...

Ignore the bad reviews on this hotel clearly those are people who are used to staying in big, luxurious hotels to be honest thats not Days Inn duh its the Days Inn not the Hampton Inn,the room rates are affordable ive always had clean rooms and no problems at all,for the people who said that they stayed in nasty, disgusting rooms without...

The room was dirty, and the sheets had food crumbs all in it. They had no clean linens. I packed up the fam and checked out, after only being there for an 1hr. Do not go there!

This dump does not in any way at all deserve any kind of praise or acknowledgment! The rooms were disgustingly horrifying. Blankets and sheets smelled, tub was filthy and the window had no screen. Being on the first floor with no screen on the window made me a bit more uncomfortable because there were some very questionable and shady people...

This Days Inn property is a rather spread out Location just off I-94 between South Bend and Gary. It sits outside of Portage proper, but is located perfectly for visiting the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, which is what we did. The Day before, we flew into South Bend from Orlando/Sanford. This hotel was about 50 minutes from the airport to...

Old. Dirty. Seedy. Arm of chair fell off when sitting in it. Lady on front desk didn't know anything about the area. Avoid at all costs. Half the lights in pool area were out. We left pool very quickly as it looked fairly grimy as well
