Pretty typical budget hotel. Beds aren't very comfortable, some aches in the morning. Smells musty. Not noisy. Shower is not bad. AC works. No breakfast. They try and nickel and dime you with a $1.50 "safe fee" -- if you don't use the safe you can contest this fee at checkout. Annoying. More

For a couple of broke college kids on a weekend trip, this was perfect. We noticed the highway noise a bit, but it was nothing we couldn't sleep through. Many of the fixtures and utilities in this hotel need updating. I had a "deluxe" room, with a king bed. The heat/air unit was extremely loud, as was the toilet. The location is right next to a wide open free way. Not a really ideal place for a good nice sleep but it turned out okay. No noise from the freeway to disturb your sleep. I caught a nice sale on a room. When I arrived I was warmly greeted. The registration was quick. The room was clean, the hearing unit was fairly quiet and adjusted to and kept the temperature. I booked a superior room just out of curiosity to see what its like and whilst it is nice and roomier I don't think it worth paying extra for. I've stayed in the cheaper rooms and the difference isn't too great, I think as a budget motel Red Roof is much better in cleanliness then Motel 6. More
