...and you'll be fine. This property is very clean, and the lake is pretty. The decor is old, rustic and quaint-appearing. The staff is friendly, very casual, and apparently well-meaning, but not all that professional. The workout room is pretty bad: three treadmills, two uncomfortable bikes and a stair stepper-- no ellipticals, weights, mats, or sani-wipes.The restaurant staff seems very proud... We stayed 2 nights. We were having a grandchild in Louisville The first night wasn't bad. We stayed on the 3rd floor of the front hotel. Very old. Room was pretty clean bed was comfy (king). The next night we called to extend our stay no baby yet. We got a horrible room!!!!!!! Non-sm stinky like smoke double. It was... More

I thought Holiday Inn was updating all of its properties? Apparently this hotel never got the memo. This Holiday Inn is stuck in a time warp the first floor in the I-wing where I stayed still has smoking rooms and when entering that wing it smells like a dirty ashtray. The rear of the onsite restaurant is so filthy I... More

The breakfast was $10 for the buffet of powered eggs and rubber toast. The window above the heater/AC, was so moldy the plaster was falling down. The night stand hadn't been dusted since the Viet Nam era. Add in 500 loud obnoxious kids and barking dogs, enough is enough. I'll sleep in my car for free next time. More

We booked three rooms since we had three couples sans kiddos coming to Louisville to see the Jimmy Buffett concert at the Yum. It seems most all downtown hotels are $200+, unless you get lucky. We struggled between booking this hotel or the Ramada north of town. We definitely made the right decision, we saw the other hotel from the... More

The staff was very nice. The restaurant manager is great, however, the wait staff needs more training. There was no breakfast menu. You were forced to pay for a buffet. The hotel itself needs to be totally redone. It should be gutted. I don't think they know what decorating theme they are using. The hotel had a strange smell. The... More

The photos make this hotel appear rather nice, unfortunately this hotel has seen better days. Stayed here for the Kentucky Derby and the rooms are ok for a cheap hotel, not up to the Holiday Inn standards I usually stay in or the price we paid for the Derby. Hallways smelled musty, air conditioning wasn't turned on and it was... More

We stayed here for a short stay in Louisville. Rates were reasonable, like the rest of hotels. Hotel is showing age, but everything was clean. Staff was nice and cordial. If we needed something, everyone was very gracious. Would definately stay here again. More

We stayed here for Thunder of Louisville, only about a 10 block walk to the river. They did not gouge the rates like the rest of hotels. She is getting a little old and showing her age but everthing worked and was clean. Would definately stay here again. More

This is an older property but my room was fine. Bed was comfortable and flat screen TV. Lots of channels. Great indoor pool. On site barber shop, restaurant & lounge. Beautiful lake in back. Only real complaint is no fridge or microwave and the hallway smells like smoke. Room smelled fine and was clean. More
