For those who need to be in Waukegan, this is the only hotel I would stay in. The stay makes you feel welcome and comfortable. “Navy Boot CAMP Graduation Hotel”

1St Class Hotel within minutes from my son's Boot Camp graduation. Staff with Travelocitypackage. all amenities, professional staff and all stores, restaurants etc n. within minutes. Shuttle service to Boot Camp! As good as it Gets!!

My stay at the Courtyard was surely more than I expected. Walked into the lobby...was very clean, modern and smelled great! The staff went above and beyond to assure our stay was the best. The rooms were nice and modern. If ever I'm in the Waukegan/Gurnee area again, this is my first choice for lodging by far!!!

“If you need to be here, it's a good choice”

I chose this hotel as I was working at the Greenbelt Cultural Center the following day. It was everything one would expect from a Courtyard: clean, efficient, and well run. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay in the area.

We had a son graduating from Great Lakes Naval Base and chose to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott because of the shuttle service they coordinated to the base. So, it was a bonus to have a newly renovated room beautifully appointed. Staff was helpful and friendly and we highly recommend it!

I always check Tripadvisor for hotels when I travel. I had checked the ones in Waukegan because my son was graduating from the Navy. The hotel and staff were wonderful. The room was a renovated one and it was very tastefully decorated. The bed and pillows were fantastic. We ate breakfast there every morning. No need to go anywhere else.... More

We visited for 3 nights, the purpose of our trip was a Navy Boot Camp Graduation. The hotel has been recently renovated and looks great. Although the renovation is not quite finished the remaining work did not affect us at all. The beds sleep GREAT, better than my bed at home, and I have a very good mattress at home.... More

“Get an inner courtyard room only”

If you are on the west side of the hotel the road noise from Highway 94 is unbearable. Ask for an inside courtyard room on the first floor to minimize the noise . . . or move down the street to the Residence Inn. Other than that, this hotel is adequate.
