I found the Oscar Swan to be a beautiful but unkept home. Our family rented the entire home and cottage for the weekend for a wedding. Upon arrival we found the home stuffy, dusty, and unclean. My husband and I just returned from a weekend at Oscar Swan Country Inn just outside Galena, IL. We have stayed at many B&B's around the U.S., and we love it for the personalized and homey service that comes with it.
