“Great place for Lincoln seekers”

We were a bit put off by the shabby/deteriorating exterior of the house. Once inside, however, we found it to be pretty well maintained and clean. David proved a wonderful resource for information about local history opportunities, as well as suggesting Petersburg and Springfield restaurants. “Wonderful & friendly; a special treat for for Lincoln buffs”

We selected the Maple Crest in large part based on another Trip Advisor review that commented on how filled with Lincoln lore one of the innkeepers was, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. “Loved the Maple Crest”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maple Crest. The B and B is tastefully furnished and was built around 1865. The owners are hospitable and gracious.
