we actually stayed in the motel, not the hotel because it was a little cheaper. the room was comfortable, decor was a old and the lay out of the room was awkward. because there was no free breakfast we left that place at 6 am in the morning...we weren't sad to leave. not to mention we were in nauvoo illinois.... If historic inns are your rainbow, this is your pot of gold. We stayed overnight here and dined repeatedly. Not only was everything exceptionally clean and enjoyable, but the overnight rooms are some of the most affordable in town. The staff was helpful and friendly, too. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was large and easily accommodated my family of seven. The decor did a great job of feeling like the 1800's or early 1900's.
