We spent 4 nights at Bar Bakfar. I can't remember staying at any B&B where the owners were more accomodating and helpful. The room we stayed in was a stand-alone building. There was a small kitchen (sink/refrigerator/microwave, kitchen table), bedroom and bathroom. Outside our room was a hammock and chairs. There is a barbecue area that you can use and... More

We just finished a fabulous 4 day, 3 night stay at Bar Bakfar. I am a frequent traveler (100K miles per year) and have always stayed in hotels. This was my first attempt at a Bed and Breakfast and it was wonderful. The Bar Bakfar location is perfect as a base for exploring the natural beauty, and history of all... More

Spent three nights at Bar Bakfar and can recommend this gem whole-heartedly. Bar Bakfar was our home base for the days we traveled in and around the northern part of Israel. Very convenient for touring this section of the country. There were five of us in our traveling party (two parents, two older children and a Papa). We booked a... More

We stayed at Bar Bakfar two weeks ago. It was the last stop on our week and a half journey across Israel. We were traveling as a whole family - my wife and I, our two kids (10, 13) and our mothers (age not posted to protect their vanity;) The gorgeous rolling hills of the lower Galilee serve as the... We all enjoyed every aspect - from the crystal clean swimming pool to hammocks in the sun to the elaborate breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They made us feel at home and they were happy we were... More

I reserved on their website and my initial email replies were fast and clearly written. It’s located about 30 minutes drive west of Tiberias but easy to find in Moshav Sharona at the top of the hill on highway 767. Yuval and Yotam are two brothers that are extremely hospitable and will try their best to fulfill all your requests.... More
