Very rude employees. Charged credit card incorrectly. Not accomodating to groups at all. Fitness center is not on property, it is quite a ways away and no hotel transportation available.

The hotel was extremely comfortable, had a really nice breakfast and a fantastic staff. We are looking forward to our next stay here.

We travel to the Decatur Illinois area often to visit family and have stayed at this Fairfield Inn for years. The staff greets us by name and treats us like family. They are friendly, efficient, considerate, and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is always just what we like. There is also an indoor pool with spa.

It's obviously not a brand new building, but the hotel has done well to make this a clean, nicely appointed place. We got a terrific price, and although breakfast was absurdly small (other than packaged egg sandwiches, nothing hot was offered), I don't have any complaints. We were driving through from Chicago to Springfield, and the location suited us perfectly.

We stayed here on Marriott points and were very happy with everything. Did not notice any unnecessary noise as noted in other reviews--maybe because we were on the top floor.
