Convenient for visiting Northwestern and surrounding areas. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice-sized rooms. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and train system. Parking is next door in a public parking area. There is a fee for parking ($13/day) but the hotel will validate the parking sticker so you have in and out priveleges all day.

Very comfortable room, very friendly and helpful front desk service...parking is next door ( you have to walk outside to get into the hotel) and is about 11-12 per day...not much compared with downtown Chicago, but of course you aren't in downtown Chicago. Easy walk to restaurants and Northwestern campus.

We stayed here for NU's Wildcat Day. The location to NU was great. The staff was extremely helpful with luggage, cabs to the airport, etc. The hotel has been recently renovated and was clean and pleasant.

Best service in Evanston. Best value for the buck. Best people. I have no reason to ever stay anywhere else when in Evanston. From check in to check out, all was exceptional. Friendly people, efficient and effectiveness make the HG Evanston, the place to stay.
