I stayed here one night and was very pleased with the service and the accommodations. Check-in was very easy. As you walk in you go to a computer, scan your card, and out comes your receipt with room numbers and keys. This system saved time and they even had an employee to help if needed. Its location is ideal for... More

This sprawling property hosts many big conventions and meetings, but the remodel makes a HUGE difference. We found the staff to be DEVOTED to customer service and the rooms spacious. Views from the West tower are better, so consider requesting that.

I have stayed here several times for big meetings, and this is a fairly typical "big meeting hotel." The positive: beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, meeting rooms are spread between two large towers. There was a little sign in my room that said all sorts of amenities were available if you call for them, including slippers, sewing kits and... More

After arriving at our destination in Chicago and finding the check-in reception on the 2nd level, we were told they were overbooked and we needed to move to the Hyatt McCormick. This was at 2pm in the afternoon. We were terribly disappointed, as we had several events that were in the downtown area. We were told there was a shuttle,... More

No tea and coffee making in the rooms and Wi-Fi was charged in the room although free in the café and lobby! No bath mat shower gel or bathrobes ! Excellent service from breakfast staff and very comprehensive breakfasts. Underground walkway with shops so no need to go outside. Good beds , Very comfortable .

Just a one night stay, lovely Hotel. Well positioned in town. There was a conference on so over 70 hotels were booked, thus my stay at the Hyatt. Bed and linen was excellent. The mini bar and snacks were well appointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It had an ipod/iphone dock radio stereo which was nice and the... More

I have stayed at the Hyatt regency several times but first since the remodel. The remodel is a great improvement. Good restaurant and bar down stairs called American Cafe. Big bar is still great and improved with a wall of tv s. rooms could use a face lift but my recent stay was a jr suite so cannot complain. I... More

Stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend and again, Hyatt did not disappoint! Situated right by the Chicago River and steps away from Michigan Ave. You could not ask for a better location. Staff are very friendly and helpful; and check-in was a breeze! Rooms are spacious and very clean with very comfortable beds & pillows ---sleep quality was amazing!... More

First, let me start with the positives. LOCATION! The location is great. Maybe a one-minute walk and your on the Magnificent Mile. Probably about a five minute walk to Millenium Park. Navy Pier was a little farther- maybe 15-20 minute walk. But, I love a hotel where there is lots to do, see, and eat nearby, and this fit the... More
