Stayed for business. This is another great Peninsula property. The staff are well trained and excellent all around- front desk, housekeeping, F&B and Spa. The suite I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. They also have lovely amenities here- a box of Vosges Chocolates for one. The food was pretty good. The location is great. The only downside was: the... More

I have being charged for two extra nights on my American Express card after checking out, I am in the process of having to prove I left the US on the 17th May and didn't request my room until the 19th. Despite I may add, having the hotel organise the car that took me to the airport. Fortunately Virgin are... More

We stayed at the Peninsula Chicago for our anniversary last week. We had stayed there once before and now I remember why we loved it so much. The service was out of this world. From the moment we checked in, the staff took care of our every need. We arrived very early and our room was not ready. They upgraded... More

Very nice hotel, rooms are jam-packed with amenities and the staff is cordial. A tall male concierge (sorry, can't remember his name but he's gotta be about 6'5") is on top of everything and follows through, no worries.

While The Peninsula is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Michigan Avenue, the service we experienced this past week-end was most definitely not "five-star". The Peninsula proved that small touches can really make or break one's stay at a hotel, opulent as its decor may be. For instance, the check-in process was aloof and impersonal, did not describe... I recently stayed at The Peninsula Chicago & had another amazing experience! I arrived quite early around 8:45am & was checked in by Andrea at the Front Desk- she was lovely. She welcomed me back, upgraded me to a Grand Deluxe room with a great view overlooking the Water Tower, & swiftly gave me my key to the 15th floor-... More

We had the executive suite and it was extremely nice. Amazing views from all the windows. Hotel is located within walking distance of about everything you could think of. I was kind of depressed before the trip because the room was expensive for me. Leaving though I didnt think twice about it. It really made the wife happy. She loved... More

This is a classic luxury Chicago hotel. It is to Chicago what the Ritz-Carlton was 30 years ago and the Four Seasons was 15 years ago, but way better. Understated elegance at every turn. No detail is left unattended to. The lobby is so very sophisticated and elegant, yet approachable. The staff is friendly, but not overly so. Rooms are... More

I've been fortunate to stay in some very nice hotels. St. Regis, Luxury Collection, Bellagio, Ritz Carlton, etc. Without question, the Peninsula Chicago is at the top of my list for business/pleasure travel. Situated near everything you need in Chicago. The staff bends over backwards to help, the rooms are ample in size and offer everything you could need (including... More

Just spent three nights at the Peninsula for the NRA show in Chicago. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, we were in AWE of the service! People welcome you at the door and know you by name. There is a low key discreet atmosphere which makes you feel like you are at home. The lap... More
