On an 8 day research trip in MO and IL, this was much the nicest place I stayed. Sandra is friendly and serves wonderful breakfasts. My room looked out over the Mississippi, and Chester is near some interesting historical sites. This sturdy house is decorated with crafts from all over the world.

The small carriage house converted into 2 bedrooms and a bath was delightful. Very private, immaculately clean and quite comfortable. Mr. Stone was a gracious host who gave a unique view of Natchez history, along with a wonderful music recital on his Steinway piano. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night and then again a year later for our first anniversary. We cannot say enough good things about this lovely B&B. The food is wonderful and the hospitality is gracious and homey. It's like staying at a friend's house.
