Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in their cabins with our 3 year old daughter. She loved to interact with their horses and I am sure their horse riding packages would be fun. 2 things to remember: Their office closes at 8 so call them beforehand in case you are reaching late. They will leave the keys for you outside the office. Also, You need to bring your own supplies for food, even coffee. Rooms had a rustic feeling and were pretty spacious for small family. It’s a good 40 miles from West Yellowstone in case you are planning to visit. We visited everyday of our stay and had no problems with the drive. Staff is helpful. It was a good stay for us. Enjoy!

My son and I rode horses this afternoon with Eagle Ridge. Highlight of our trip so far. The guides were great. First time I’ve been on a horse in years. Clear instructions provided. Saw a moose and a deer. Outstanding views.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Yellowstone. One reviewer said it was hard to find, not so for us. Two turns off 20, both with signs and it's at the end of the road, no GPS needed. The Cabin was the kind of place you think "this is all I need". Loved our stay and would definitely do annually. Lessons learned are, kitchen has a microwave and cook top, no oven. Pots, pans and plates are provided but no food, salt, pepper or anything, are provided. If you plan on cooking, bring EVERYTHING you might need. There is a small refrigerator for a few beverage cans, freezer with a tray for making ice but no ice. Hot tub was a joy but whatever the water treatment was caused us both to cough like too much chlorine or something for the first 5-10 minutes but still worth it under the stars. Everything else was fantastic.

We had so much fun on our 2 hour trail ride & cookout dinner. This place is great! We arrived early to enjoy some of the other activities. Weather wasn’t the best so we used the peddle boats around the lake. We roamed the grounds and petted some curious horses who treated us along the fence lines and the kids tried roping the log “bulls”. When it was time to saddle up the tour guides did an excellent job of pairing the riders with a well suited horse. My daughter had her heart set on a brown & white horse and they were magically able to make that happen after we let a guide know. The trail ride went through some beautiful country and crossed several small creeks. I was really impressed with how natural it felt versus some commercial operation just parading you through the same tired path. At the end dinner was waiting for us and I had zero expectations for it being anything but average and to my delight along with everyone else in my party the food is delicious!!!! I’m not kidding. My husband and I are big foodies and we’re blown away at how delicious it all was from the fried to order fry bread appetizers to the cheesy au gratin potatoes we gobbled it all up and made room for seconds.

We had a neat, clean, comfy cabin with a small, well-equipped kitchen. There are numerous activities, such as fishing, horse-back riding, hiking, etc. We had a 1 bedroom cabin, but there are several larger ones available. We would definitely go back.

We only stayed two nights but enjoyed every moment. The facilities are amazing and beautiful. Very well maintained. When we checked in we had so much help from the office, she let us know all we needed to know. My kids enjoyed the lake and playing in the water. The cabins are very well kept and beautiful. I suggest bringing food to cook because the nearest grocery store is quite the drive and a bit pricey because of the location. The drive to Yellowstone is beautiful!! I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to everyone!

Awesome ride with great guides. Dillon and Travis were great and the horses were well behaved and easy to handle, even for inexperienced riders. I would highly recommend these folks for your next trail ride. The scenery is spectacular with wildlife to be seen (the mule deer seemed very accustomed to riders). Many thanks to the guides, Aztec, Quigley and Champ!

There was almost no customer service with this property. I knew we were going to a remote location, but from the check in to asking questions because things were not working properly, it was clear we were bothering them. The lady in the house when you check in was very short and seemed annoyed to have to explain to me how the property worked as I had some questions about the horse back riding and how the water activities worked. There was no map provided and while the property is small and we could figure it out, I am glad we were checking in during the daylight hours as it could be hard to navigate in the dark. When we got to our cabin there were 4 of us staying in the cabin and yet we had exactly 4 pillows for all of us to share. While for some this may seem like a minor item it was not for us. The beds are very uncomfortable and we had a couple of horrible nights of sleep. Also they advertise that they have internet. This is not the case unless you are simply trying to check email. There is no downloading or streaming of shows on your devices. The internet is pretty much worthless and is expensive. Also you should be aware that they use too many chemicals in the hottub. It was so bad that the kids were coughing the whole time they were in there. We had to pull them out after a couple of minutes because I was afraid there would be some health risks to the overexposure.

This was our first winter vacation in Yellowstone country. We didn't stay at Eagle Ridge Ranch because we already had other accommodations. However, we went snowmobiling and ice fishing on the ranch with the owner (Steve) and had a fantastic time. Steve made the whole experience really fun and interesting. This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. While at the ranch, we had a chance to see the cabins and decided that we'll be staying there next time we're in the area. We HIGHLY recommend Eagle Ridge Ranch for both lodging and activities.

So, you do have to drive pretty far off the main road on a gravel road to get here, but it was worth it when you get there. The owner was so friendly and helpful to suggest a place to eat. I stayed in the "Little Cabin" and it was adorable and decorated so nicely. I was solo, but this would be perfect for a couple for a romantic getaway. It had satellite TV, kitchen area and a hot tub on the deck. My only complaint is that I believe there is some kind of critter living under the back of the cabin because it spent much of the night scratching or doing something that awoke me several times during the night. This cabin has a nice deck and overlooks the property which was beautiful, especially watching them wrangle up the horses for the night with the quad! Great place to stay.
