This is a "no frills" hotel in a superb position, 100 metres from the Venice Lido Vaporetti stop with frequent water bus services to Venice (15 mins to St Mark's Square and a fabulous approach), the lagoon islands and the airport. This is good news and a bad news story (Four day stay Oct3-7th). First the good news, Lido Island is well located relative to the main Island in Venice and the Hotel is only a block away from the Lido Island Vaporetto Station (last stop on the Vaporetto line and good link to airport). Had a three night stay in Oct 12 - allocated room at the front of the premises. Overlooking public bus terminus,local newsagents and several pavement bars/cafes. Buses 'ticking-over'/loading and moving off from 0600 x 2300. Noise bars until early hours. Did not have a good nights sleep.Location to water-bus is only attraction.

The staff at the front desk including the manager were down right rude. Not the type of service we are used to while staying at other "western" hotel chains.
