I have always stayed at the Ocean Plaza, the staff is very friendly. I find it very accommodating. It's not a brand new hotel, but aren't you at the beach, who stays in a hotel room all day. I rented 56 Captain's View on Tybee Island from Luxury Living Tybee. Although the property is in a lovely, quiet setting, as the website says, I was disappointed in the accommodations and cannot recommend this to other travelers.
