Stayed at Stone Mountain Campground for two nights. Overall we were very pleased with the campground, as it had lots of trees, clean restrooms, and beautiful views. The sites were not overly spacious, but because of the trees, you didn't feel too close. Choosing your site is key though... we didn't have enough leveling blocks (we have 20 Lynx Leveler... More

After reading previous reviews I will have to say they are all mostly correct. Site location is key to enjoying this campground. We spent 4 days/3 nights in June on the O Loop site 428(premium w/o cable), which wasn't our original site. When we arrived and viewed the original site of 425 it was apparent that it wouldn't work for... More

This was our first time camping at this campground and we will definitely return. We were there for 5 nights over Easter week. The campground is VERY large with lots of different sites. We needed one for our 31' travel-trailer and we wanted full-hookups. I used Google earth and the park map to pick out campsite #93. It is a... More

This was our first time camping at Stone Mountain. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I believe there is always room for improvement. We stayed 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The overall campgrounds were nice. We were on site 400 which is a distance from the main RV camping area. This was a wonderful... More

We stayed 3 nights in our 30' motorhome at site 302A (pull in forward site). Overall we had a great time. Our site was on the end of loop L facing road which meant road noise but it wasn't that bad. Some sites had a view of the lake, but the ones directly on lake were for pop-up/tent only. We... More

Everything is amazing, but the valuables like toys and food are really expensive. I spent like 100$ on a meal. The value is what messes up this place. If the lower the food price, this place would be amazing.

Our family of 4 took a pop up camper and stayed two nights at campsite 55. This was our first camping experience. The site, bathhouses, and overall campground was great. We will visit again. Great time!!!

We stayed there over spring break. This was our 2nd time there. Love it relaxing. Lots of fun things to do with small children. Staff extremely helpful they keep the park very clean. Only downfall was pool to cold to swim. We already booked for next spring it will be our 3rd year. Can't wait.

My family and I love to visit Stone Mountain but this was the first time camping. The price per night was expensive compared to most campgrounds! Having a pop up I pay attention to the bathhouses and this one has been the worst. Gross toilets, floors, ceilings, sinks, etc! In the womens there was one sink that worked for a... More

I've camped for 45 years. I've never hated a campground until now. First off, this is very expensive for a campsite. We camped a couple of weeks ago at a Georgia State Park for half the price of this place and it was so much nicer it's hard to believe. The campsites are very close together, very ugly and not...
