This is a one-of-a-kind experience and nostalgic throwback to summer camp - with a bar and a king-sized bed. Little St. Simons is for nature lovers. No crowds, no packed beaches, no noisy bars and lots to do. You are chartered to the island by boat (no roads to get on the island), your luggage is delivered to your cabin... More

This all inclusive, nature minded resort is a favorite of our family. The conservation of this beautiful, coastal Georgia island is worth seeing at least once. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, always willing to answer questions and arrange excursions based on personal interests on the island. The accommodations are rustic but very comfortable and the meals are always delicious... More

After leaving Savannah on our girls' trip, we headed for the Lodge at Little St Simon. After reading the reviews and visiting their website, it looked great. WRONG! As soon as we stepped off the boat that took us there, my friend's leg was bleeding from sand gnat bites! Mosquitoes and flies were in the cabin as well. No one... More

It was such a relaxing visit. The accommodations were rustic but very nice, the food was very good, and we really enjoyed the opportunity to walk, bike and boat on this beautiful island. The other guests were very pleasant and interesting, and the staff could not have been more gracious. I especially enjoyed the Friday night oyster roast, which was... More

My husband and I visited Little St Simons Island early in November, 2011. We loved the natural beauty of the island and the solitude. The food is wonderfully prepared and served by a knowledgable, helpful, friendly staff. The only complaint is having to leave when your vacation time is up. We hope to get back again next year. More

After reading the fantastic reviews on TripAdvisor, my husband and I found time to get away for a long weekend. Four days was perfect for us to enjoy the guided tours around the island, the solitude at the beach, and bicycling around in order to burn off calories to ready for the next meal. The food and drink are fantastic,... More

Went to LSSI for 2 nights with our children 7 and 9. Had the best time -- this place is ideal for kids - -there is so much to do -- we saw turtles hatching, we went bird watching, fishing, beach combing, swimming. The restaurant accomodated our children's picky palates. We loved it and can't wait to go back. More

My husband and I just returned from our fourth stay on Little St. Simons Island. We spent our honeymoon there and return as often as we can. The Lodge is rustic yet has everything you need to make you feel special. Even though this was a return trip, we saw so many things that we had never seen before. If... More

Very quiet, lots of nature to see and explore. The food is served family style and is excellent. There are several types of lodging, ours was in a cabin with 4 separate rooms and a common area, very comfortable. very private beach to enjoy, a large pool and several naturalists to show you the island and help you with activities,... From the moment you board the ferri that takes you to the island and step onto this quaint little place, you feel all of your stresses fall away and find yourself sinking into a more relaxed pace of life. You will not find yourself bored though - there is to much to explore and do. We enjoyed bike rides on... More
