I was very surprised at the hotel after seeing a 1 star rating. We still gave it a chance and we very glad we did. Room was clean, quiet, and staff was friendly.

The rooms are tiny and somewhat cramped, but clean. You have a fridge, coffee pot, microwave, hair dryer, and a phone. I like the area; it is a bit from the overcrowded and loud road. the staff was very friendly and very helpful! we never went without anything we needed! we even walked into town and was stuck in a thunderstorm and called the staff who called us a taxi to get us back to our room safely. we were very pleased with every part of our stay in helen!
