We stayed there the first week of November,probably only five, maybe six units occupied. Therefore, VERY quiet.Rooms are clean, ours was drafty,making it rather cool, otherwise, no complaints. As far as timeshares are concerned Alpine Crest does need some work but it is overall a very nice place a long as you don't expect a gold crown or five star resort. The resort itself needs some paint and new carpets but the rental had a great layout and wonderful views. It was close to several beautiful parks and waterfalls, walking distance (though a steep trail) to downtown Helen, and the waterslide is also a river tubing stop off.
