The Dalton Inn has been recently re-branded as an EconoLodge. They have a lot of work to do before they are ready for guests. My room stank. The pool was filled with green algae. Filthy carpets. The AAA book gave it 2-stars. I think they need to re-think that rating. Not recommended. More

Rooms booked for group of kids. Arrived at 11:00 at night and doors were wide open. Walked right in to mold, bugs, non working toilets, holes in ceilings, and very nasty rooms. Room was old and worn, sink counter was painted, but felt clean. We skipped 'breakfast' of unappealing donuts and cereal. There was no tea or hot water for tea. It was reasonable so we couldn't really complain. More
