Stayed there with our grandchildren. It is a bit out of the way, but a nice hotel.
Pool was beautiful & enjoyable for the kids. It was a lazy river. I do not thin I have ever seen such a big hotel pool

Our family spent a week here in March while my husband attended a conference in the hotel. Truly a terrific experience. The common areas of the hotel are gorgeous, and the pool set up is great. They have done a great job of creating separate yet linked areas so that it doesn't feel crowded. Kids loved the lazy river and...

Came for a 4 day business trip - good marks there: decent conference food (good fruit is the litmus), free workout and nice run paths, pool is truly nice (though not open very late). Good places outside to run meetings. As noted, it stinks you pay $16 for wireless and it only works in your room. As a business hotel,...

I spent 5 nights and 6 days at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes near Orlando. The property was very nice and met the standard that I expected for such a property. We had a large group attending a sales/training meeting with many diverse requirements that the hotel met well. In terms of specifics, I found the staff to be very...

Now several years "new", this Marriott property will please some and disappoint others. The resort, which shares it's location with a "sister" Ritz hotel, is located on what the website refers to as "lush acres of tropical landscape". A more appropriate description might be "Central Florida scrub land which developers have spared no expense to re imagine into anything resembling...

I have been here several times. We love the destination, and the Lazy River/pool!!!! The lobby is beautiful and much nicer than the Ritz Carlton next door. But the service is HORRIBLE!!! We decided to check in but they all had a very nasty attitude! Totally not professional service at the front desk!!!! If you are looking for a beautiful...

Average room size, no frills to match a $269 stay. Staff member walked into our room 2 nights in a row to turn down the bed without knocking.
Wifi limits you to room only, no point in wireless if you can't move.
Overall disappointing considering the reputation and prices

I've stayed here with my wife and young kids several times over the past 2 years, and it's become the most enjoyable part of visiting Orlando. It's a huge property with tons of amenities. It offers excellent dining and service is consistently good. It's nicely decorated and feels luxurious, but not stuffy. Rooms are comfortable and big. The location is...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks in August along with 3 other families. The rooms are lovely & the bathroom is a good size.l would recommend a room with a balcony as in the evenings you can see the fireworks in the distance from Magic Kingdom & Sea World. The lazy river is great but you do have to...

Stayed here with family for conference. Pool amazing and family-friendly. King bed room with fold-out loveseat. Clean bathroom and nice toiletries provided. We had trouble getting someone to bring us a sheet for the sofa bed after my husband requested one, and had to call again while kids crying and tired. All staff members very pleasant so this was probably...
