After spending four days on the Inka Trail in the amazing Andes mountains, it was such a pleasure to leave Machu Picchu's tourist hub. The Peruvians need the income so Aguas Calientes is understandable, but I was looking for calm and serenity to take in the experience of the four day hike and my previous week in lovely Peru. Tique,... More

This was one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed... From the road, you would never know how fabulous it is, but once you're up there it's just magical. The manager was wonderful and welcoming, and we felt so comfortable and homey the whole time. I thoroughly enjoyed swaying in a hammock munching on a red-skinned banana and listening... More

I was a bit worried when the taxi pulled up to this eco lodge. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere. But after you climb the stairs up to the lodge from street level, a unique and interesting experience awaits you. The "landlords" hardly speak any English at all, but that adds to the charm. The meal they cooked... More

We couldn't bring our dogs with us to Peru, and we were missing our dogs -- but we fell in love with the resident dog Malki. When we were there, she'd just had a litter of pups. She's very sensitive, whimsical, and intelligent -- she kept us quite entertained. We enjoyed the hot springs nearby, and the local coffee that... More

My absolute favorite stay during my trip to Peru this past summer. If you want to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the surrounding nature, this is the place to stay. After a long day of hiking, I enjoyed the evening reading a book in the courtyard with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains, ate a delicious homemade meal... More

On a tour we booked we were told we would be camping at a remote camping spot, but instead got taken to this wonderful little Eco Lodge. From the street it doesn't look like anything but once we looked at the rooms we were quite impressed. We were given the option to stay in a tent (somewhere on the property... More

I take NO credit for finding this wonderful Lodge. This was just the place Gravity Tours put us at and we could not be happier. The owner, operator, chef takes great pride in his planet friendly business. This is the ONLY place to stay if you are staying in Santa Teresa. Clean comfy rooms, outdoor showers and an amazing patio... More

Stayed there coming back form Macchu Pichu. Perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. The staff is helpful, friendly and happy to share stories of the lodge and the region. If you're in Santa Teresa, you'll want to stay there. Keep in mind that the place is simple and built to respect the surrounding nature. So no... More

Eco Quechua Lodge is one of the best places I've stayed in South America. A true gem. Santa Teresa is an overlooked area as people head to Machu Picchu, but Eco Quechua Lodge is truly worth the stop. Whether for a night or a few days, it is such a beautiful place to relax and get away. The open-air eco... More

I didn't have the opportunity to stay at the lodge while in Peru however i did have the chance to feast when we made a stop here with our guide Kika who had been recommended to us by a friend. The food was excellent and authentic, the people warm and hospitable, and of course Kika who i can not say... More
