Loved the condo itself but there was limited chairs and umbrellas on the beach so people were out as early as 6am to reserve them. We also had a problem with the crows every morning they were sitting on our balcony, it was disgusting. And the one fan didn't work in our unit. The beach often had a terrible smell... More

My husband and I own a time share and was able to get a weeks stay at the Siesta Sands Beach Resort on Point of Rocks Road in Siesta Key. The grounds are well kept and newer stone work done, along with newer gas grills . The larger pool area even has an outdoor fireplace to night. The condo that... More

We were there August 17-20. The beach smelled terrible - like sewer. Condo had mildew in bathtub and on shower curtain. Toilet leaked. Closets were broken. 2" gap under front door that allowed noise to enter the condo. We were next to the elevator AND washer/dryer - how did we get so lucky? Management was slow to react to complaints... More

We stayed in the top floor 3 bedroom unit with our 3 yound adult children. The accomodations couldn't have been better and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was all we were told it would be. We rented chairs and umbrellas from the beachside vendor for the week and the only issue we had was when we... More

Siesta Sands was a wonderful "home away from home" for a week! Everything we could ever need was provided in the condo. The location couldn't be beat. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The staff was friendly. The condo was extremely clean. Didn't want to leave...but will be back! More

Just returned from a fabulous week at Siesta Sands. The unit (410) was updated with classy furnishings, granite counters and top quality cabinets in kitchen, walk-in shower tiled with stone, and a VERY comfortable king-size bed. My teenager used the pull-out sofa, and had her own TV in the living room, and we had another flat-screen in the bedroom. We... More

We just left Siesta Sands Rm 208 after a 3 day girls getaway. The property was beautifully maintained(this coming from 3 girls in property management), the condo was perfect, clean, quiet and near everything. Brian and staff in the office were amazing, and helpful to every thing a guest might need, including finding a market for fresh lobsters for dinner.We... More

Please note there are two "Siesta Sands" hotels in Sarasota. There is another place called "Siesta Sands On The Beach" and this review is for "Siesta Sands Beach Resort" We spent 5 nights at Siesta Sands and had a great 2BR/2BA condo (#409). The unit was "nice." Nothing fancy or lavish, but we weren't looking for that anyway. We just... More

We have stayed here 7 times since 1999, with the latest stay in 2006. Every year I look for a better value, and every year I book the Siesta Sands. One of the major reasons we stay is for the 3 bedroom condos. This allows us to bring the grandparents, or friends and share the cost. Basically, it's like having... More
