Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. Atmosphere was beautiful and calm. Looking forward to coming back!! Rooms were very clean. Loved the garden area to relax. Felt like you were coming "home" after a day at the beach.

We stayed in the Mermaid and were very happy with the accommodations, the staff, and the lush surroundings. Everyone was helpful. Pool was clean and refreshing. Friends of ours stayed in Tortuga and every night we would meet and play cards on the screened-in porch. Wonderful.

I have to admit, the place has potential however until it's fixed up, it's totally not worth the money, even with a Groupon. The carpets are beyond dirty and the sofa should be thrown away. We enjoyed our time at the bungalows very much. Innkeeper was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Shabby chic is a good description, as it is not an elegant or luxurious spot. It is clean and comfortable however and having a free bicycle is worth an extra point.
