Sea Shells of Sanibel was extremely clean, close to the beach, quiet and had great amenities. Each unit had a place to sit quietly outsde, most in a screened lanai. We stayed in unit 22 for 7 days from Nov 10 to 17. It was a very clean nicely furnished room. This building is right next to the office, which makes it convenient to use the laundry and pool, (its heated). The walk to the beach is not real far but you may want to consider a wagon or cart... More

Where to start....the walk to the beach from bldg 5 is way too long, much longer than site explains, its over 500 ft to road, where then its another 500ft down to the trail to the beach, which is another good 500 ft to the beach. We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2012. The condo had plenty of space but the whole layout was dated and tired. The carpet (advertised as new in 1999!) was shag pile and the colour (to be very kind) was 'brown'.
