We spent three nights in the Sweet Magnolia Inn. Originally built as a general store more than a century ago, it also rented rooms on its upper floors. The whole point of a B&B, versus a standard hotel, is to immerse yourself in someone's private home, usually one which has been exceptionally well-furnished and equipped for its guests' personal comfort. My husband and I made reservations for 2 nights at the Sweet Magnolia so we could attend the annual St. Marks Stone Crab Festival.
